Pet Policy

We love hosting well-behaved dogs. Here is everything you need to know before bringing your furry friend.

General Rules

  • Dogs only — no cats, birds, reptiles, or other animals
  • Maximum 2 dogs per reservation
  • No dogs under 1 year old
  • All dogs must be fully house-trained
  • Dogs must be current on all vaccinations
  • A complimentary extra-large dog bed is provided

Formula: $150 per dog (covers first 3 nights) + $50 per dog per additional night (night 4+).

Refundable Security Deposit — $500

  • A $500 credit card authorization hold is placed at booking
  • This is not a charge — it releases automatically after checkout inspection
  • Forfeited only if damage is found during post-checkout inspection

Furniture Policy

  • Dogs are NOT permitted on any furniture — beds, couches, chairs, or ottomans
  • A complimentary extra-large dog bed is provided
  • Evidence of dogs on furniture results in cleaning charges from the deposit

Unattended Dog Policy

  • Dogs left home alone MUST be crated at all times — no exceptions
  • Uncrated dogs while guests are away: $1,000 fine and/or full forfeiture of $500 deposit
  • Violations determined by exterior cameras, visible evidence, or other observable means
  • Guests acknowledge exterior security cameras are present on the property

Prohibited Breeds

The following breeds are not permitted due to insurance requirements:

Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Chow Chow, Akita, Wolf Hybrid, Wolfdog, Presa Canario, Cane Corso, Bull Mastiff, Dogue de Bordeaux, all Mastiff variants, Malinois, St. Bernard, Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Bernese Mountain Dog, Great Pyrenees, Newfoundland, Samoyed, Afghan Hound

Mixed breeds with any of the above as a primary breed are also prohibited. If breed cannot be verified, host reserves the right to deny entry.

Violations

  • Immediate forfeiture of the $500 security deposit
  • Additional damage charges up to full cost of repair/replacement
  • Immediate termination of the reservation with no refund
