House Rules

We want every guest to have a wonderful experience. These rules help us maintain a welcoming home for everyone.

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: 3:00 PM — self check-in via keypad lock
  • Check-out: 11:00 AM
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights
  • Maximum stay: 30 nights
  • Your unique door code is sent the day before arrival
  • A Welcome Book with full instructions is on the kitchen counter

Strict Rules

  • No smoking inside the property — outdoors only, away from the house
  • No parties or events — this is a residential neighborhood
  • No unregistered guests — only guests listed on the reservation may stay overnight

Quiet Hours

  • 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM — please keep noise to a minimum
  • Hot tub may be used during quiet hours at a reasonable volume
  • We are in a quiet residential neighborhood — please be respectful of neighbors

The Home

  • Shoes off indoors
  • Thermostat: please keep between 68°F and 74°F
  • Do not rearrange furniture
  • Report damages or maintenance issues immediately
  • No candles or open flames inside the home

Hot Tub

  • Available year-round
  • Replace the cover after each use
  • No glass containers in or near the hot tub
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • Safety rules are posted near the tub — please review before use
  • Use at your own risk

Kitchen

  • Fully equipped — cookware, dishes, and appliances provided
  • Clean dishes or load the dishwasher after use
  • Do not leave food out on counters overnight
  • Start a load of dishes before checkout

Checkout Checklist

  • Start a load of towels in the washer (no need to fold)
  • Load and start the dishwasher
  • Take trash out to the bins at the side of the house
  • Turn off all lights and fans
  • Set thermostat to 70°F
  • Replace hot tub cover
  • Lock all doors and windows
  • Double-check you have all your belongings

No need to strip the beds — our cleaning team handles that.

Parking

  • Free driveway parking for multiple vehicles
  • Do not park on the lawn
  • Street parking also available

Pets

Dogs welcome with restrictions and fees. See our full pet policy for details.

Security

  • Exterior security cameras are present for safety
  • No interior cameras anywhere inside the home
  • Keypad codes are unique to each guest and expire after checkout
